Complete your annual registration prior to providing guided sport fishing services in Alaska.

Need to register your business or guide?
You can obtain your business and guide registrations online below however, vessels must be registered in-person or by using the ADFG eLogbook

Need to register your vessels with ADF&G?
ADF&G vessel registrations are distinct from DMV registrations and are required annually. Two annual year stickers and a vessel registration form will be issued for the current year.
- Visit any ADF&G office
- If operating in saltwater, use the business' eLogbook Review Application to register your vessels and have materials mailed to you.
Exemptions
Assistants and Deckhands: Assistants, deckhands, and similar persons working directly under the supervision of, and on the same vessel as, a State of Alaska registered fishing guide are exempt from the guide registration requirements.
